Ice Skating Anyone?
With all of this freezing weather, our pool has frozen over with 3-inch thick ice! I'm disappointed I forgot my ice skates when I was home for Christmas, it would have been great to practice my figure eights on my own private rink.

That is an awesome photo. Unfortunate you lost the use of your pool but hopefully the hot tub is still HOT!
I told Brian about your frozen pool and said that I'd never even heard of pools freezing in San Luis or Paso or anywhere nearby. He said that in North Dakota (where he's from), they normally drain the pools during winter so that they don't freeze over (since a built-in pool could probably be damaged by ice forming). But that's probably more of a pain than it's worth for you guys. Thanks for the comment the other day!
